  Les jardins d'Aywiers

Program
may 2020

The theme : Art in gardens

In gardens, beauty is everywhere. All of nature is a source of art and inspires many artists. Leaves, flowers and branches serve as models and are interpreted in different ways. Landscapes, light, colours and plants serve as supports for creation or backgrounds.
Many talents and many disciplines converge in the garden arts and the arts of the garden: professional landscapists, amateurs both knowledgeable and less knowledgeable, artisans working with plants and other materials, and sculptors. Tradition, ancestral know-how and new technologies all come into play depending on individual sensibilities. Atmospheres vary according to imagination and artistic expression. Today, many gardeners stage their personal visions by adding sculptures, found objects and even elves and gnomes to their patches of greenery.
This spring, at the Aywiers Gardens, visitors can explore many different ways of enlivening or adorning a garden. Playful or sophisticated installations for all budgets, and for the pleasure of installing beauty, joy and wonder at our doors.
